Logline: After his father’s untimely death, a troubled youth shipped off to military school is spurred to excel by the thoughts and deeds recorded in his father’s wartime journal, prompting him to grow from a boy into a man. Based on true events, this is a new take on the classic coming-of-age story, which has proven notable box office success.
Author: Blue Spruell was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Atlanta, Georgia where he currently lives with his wife and two children.
